Former Trump Lawyer Cites Infighting as Reason for Departure from Legal Team

Timothy Parlatore, a former attorney for Donald Trump's legal team, has said that he left because of infighting, particularly with Trump adviser Boris Epshteyn, who he claims made defending the former president harder than it needed to be. Parlatore also accused Epshteyn of being dishonest and attempting to interfere with the team's efforts to search some of Trump's properties for classified documents. Trump's campaign has disputed Parlatore's claims. The former attorney's departure comes as special counsel Jack Smith appears to be in the final stretch of investigations into the possible mishandling of classified documents and efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election by Trump.
