Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has promised to take action against Disney, including examining taxes on its hotels and imposing tolls on roads serving its theme parks. The move comes after a Central Florida board controlled by Disney passed agreements that ensured the company would keep a large degree of power despite a new law passed in February that created a new board controlled by the governor. DeSantis also said that the new district he appointed would explore developing property it owns adjacent to Disney property.
