DeSantis vs. Disney: The Battle Continues

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has promised to take action against Disney, including examining taxes on its hotels and imposing tolls on roads serving its theme parks. The move comes after a Central Florida board controlled by Disney passed agreements that ensured the company would keep a large degree of power despite a new law passed in February that created a new board controlled by the governor. DeSantis has also said that the new district he appointed would explore developing property it owns adjacent to Disney property. Disney representatives have not yet commented on the situation.
