Denver Municipal Election 2023: Mayor's Race, City Council, and Homelessness Voting Challenges.

Kelly Brough, the president and CEO of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, and Mike Johnston, a former state senator, are leading in the Denver mayoral race and could be pushed to a runoff election. The city faces rising crime rates, growing homeless encampments, and dizzying housing costs. In the councilmembers at-large race, Serena Gonzales-Gutierrez and Penfield Tate were leading, while the results for councilmember districts 8, 9, and 10 were also being updated. Additionally, the Park Hill Golf Course ballot question results were being updated.
