CIA Undergoes Overhaul of Sexual Assault Handling Amid Investigation

The CIA has hired an expert on sexual assault prevention and is taking several steps to address allegations of mishandling sexual assault and misconduct in its workforce. The agency is creating an internal task force to improve its organizational structure and processes for reporting sexual assault or workplace harassment. The task force will also reform the agency’s Equal Employment Opportunity process for reporting sexual assault and train managers to handle allegations of sexual assault.
