Billionaire GOP Donor Pays Tuition for Clarence Thomas' Grandnephew.

Harlan Crow, a Republican megadonor, paid for the private school tuition of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas’ grandnephew, according to ProPublica. The payment, which cost over $6,000 a month, was not disclosed by Thomas, who had legal custody of his grandnephew. Both Thomas and Crow deny any lobbying or attempts to sway the Supreme Court justice. Martin, the grandnephew, said there was nothing nefarious about the payment and that Crow had done it as “a friend.”
