Biden's Judicial Nominees Face Tough Scrutiny in Senate Hearings.

During a confirmation hearing, Sen. John Kennedy stumped President Biden's trial court nominee Kato Crews by asking him to analyze a Brady motion, a legal concept resulting from the landmark Brady v. Maryland Supreme Court decision in 1963. Crews admitted he had not addressed the issue before and did not remember the case. This is the second time this year Kennedy has stumped a Biden judicial nominee during confirmation hearings.
