"Biden's 2024 Campaign Manager: Meet Julie Chávez Rodríguez"

President Biden has named Julie Chávez Rodríguez, a senior adviser and the highest-ranking Latina in the White House, as the campaign manager for his re-election effort. Ms. Chávez Rodríguez is a veteran of the Obama administration and of Vice President Kamala Harris’s political orbit. She has not managed a campaign before, but was a deputy campaign manager on the 2020 Biden campaign. Ms. Chávez Rodríguez is also closely connected to Ms. Harris, who may draw particular attention from voters because of Mr. Biden’s age. She is the first woman of color to lead a presidential campaign.
