Americans Honored to be Banned from Russia in Retaliation for US Sanctions

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger has thanked Russia for including him on a list of 500 Americans banned from entering the country for allegedly spreading "Russophobia." Raffensperger, who rejected former President Donald Trump's entreaties to overturn President Joe Biden's 2020 victory in Georgia, mocked his inclusion on the list. The action comes as Russia continues to retaliate against the US and other Western countries over sanctions imposed since the country invaded Ukraine in February 2022.
