IAEA: Iran's Uranium Enrichment Reaches 60% with No Progress

Iran's stockpile of uranium enriched to up to 60% purity, close to weapons grade, continues to grow, according to reports by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). The IAEA also reported no progress in resolving outstanding issues, such as explaining uranium traces at undeclared sites. Iran has refused to allow the installation of more surveillance cameras, further raising tensions with Western powers. The stock of uranium enriched to 60% has increased, although some of it has been diluted. Iran's production of highly enriched uranium has slowed, possibly as part of de-escalation efforts with the United States. However, concerns remain as Iran's stockpile is now almost three times the amount theoretically needed to produce a nuclear bomb.
