Multiple Tornadoes Cause Destruction in Texas and Surrounding States

A tornado hit the Texas Panhandle town of Perryton, killing at least three people and injuring over 75 others. The storm caused widespread damage, with at least 30 trailers destroyed in a mobile home park. First responders from surrounding areas and Oklahoma arrived to assist. Nearly 50,000 customers were without electricity in Texas and Oklahoma. The storm system also brought hail and possible tornados to northwestern Ohio. Texas Governor Greg Abbott directed the state Division of Emergency Management to help with everything from traffic control to restoring water and other utilities, if needed.
