"Trump Co-Defendant Subpoenas DA Fani Willis for Testimony on Relationship with Special Prosecutor"

Fulton County DA Fani Willis and special prosecutor Nathan Wade have been subpoenaed to testify about allegations that Willis financially benefitted from Wade, her alleged romantic partner, in a lawsuit filed by Trump co-defendant Michael Roman. The lawsuit also alleges that the DA’s office is intentionally stalling requests for documents and not complying with the Georgia Open Records Act. Former President Donald Trump has moved to adopt Roman’s motion to dismiss the election interference charges, citing the allegations of an improper relationship between the prosecutors. Willis has until Feb. 2 to respond to the allegations.
