Modi to Investigate Alleged Sikh Leader Assassination Plot in the US

Modi expressed his commitment to the rule of law and emphasized that the bilateral relationship between India and the U.S. remains strong. The charges were filed by the U.S. Justice Department last month, accusing an Indian national and an Indian government official of attempting to assassinate the Sikh activist. Modi also expressed concern about the activities of extremist groups based overseas, which he claimed were inciting violence under the guise of freedom of expression.
