Leaked Pentagon documents suggest that Russia has been jamming GPS signals that direct precision-guided munitions to their targets, effectively turning expensive, highly accurate weapons into unguided “dumb bombs.” The US has been hesitant to provide fighter jets to Ukraine, citing difficulty training Ukrainians on the Western systems and a need to avoid further provoking Russia. Ukraine has requested F-15 or F-16 aircraft, as well as more air defense systems, heavy artillery, mortars, and ammunition.
