Iranian National and Two Canadians Charged in Alleged Murder Plot on US Soil

The US has charged an Iranian national, a Canadian Hells Angel, and another Canadian in an alleged plot to carry out assassinations in the US, with the Iranian allegedly running an assassination ring on behalf of Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence and Security. The indictment details communications between the accused, including discussions of a fee of $350,000 for the murder of an Iranian defector and a female companion living in Maryland. The US and UK governments announced joint measures against the accused's network, which has been implicated in numerous acts of transnational repression. This is not the first time Iran has been accused of collaborating with Hells Angels, as German police previously blamed Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps for organizing attacks through a German-Iranian biker gang boss.
