Chinese Warship's Aggressive Encounter with US Destroyer in Taiwan Strait.

A Chinese warship executed unsafe maneuvers and cut across the bow of the USS Chung-Hoon, a US guided-missile destroyer, while it was transiting the Taiwan Strait. The Chinese warship came within 150 yards of the US ship, violating maritime rules of safe passage in international waters. The incident was called unprofessional by the commander of the Canadian ship, HMCS Montreal, which was also transiting the strait. Chinese officials have not commented on the incident, but have previously called unannounced warship sail through the strait provocative.
