Texas Forced to Relocate Rio Grande Barriers as Judge Sides with Biden

A U.S. judge has ordered Texas to relocate floating buoys that were placed in the Rio Grande to block migrants from crossing the U.S.-Mexico border, siding with President Joe Biden's administration. The judge ruled that the barrier disrupts navigation and was installed without permission from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Texas Governor Greg Abbott, who has been critical of Biden's border security policies, immediately appealed the ruling and stated that the battle to defend Texas' authority to protect its borders has just begun. The buoys have caused strain in the U.S.-Mexico relationship and pose a risk to watercraft.
