"California Dog Missing Since Summer Found Safe in Michigan"

A dog missing in California since the summer was found in suburban Detroit, more than 2,000 miles away. The terrier mix, named Mishka, had an identity chip that led to her owners in San Diego. After months of searching and putting up over a thousand flyers, the dog's owner, Mehrad Houman, was reunited with Mishka in Michigan. The dog had wandered away from Houman’s workplace in July and was well taken care of during her time away.
