Teenager Shot in Head Attends Brain Injury Fundraiser and Walks Weeks Later

Ralph Yarl, a Black teenager who was shot in the head in April, joined a walk for brain injury awareness in Kansas City, Missouri on Memorial Day. Yarl has been walking a few miles every other day as part of his recovery. His mother joined him for the walk, and members of "Team Ralph" were decked out in bright green to honor the teen. Yarl's aunt said that the support from the community was heartwarming and that it was good to know that there were people who could relate to what they were going through.
