Former President Jimmy Carter, who has been under hospice care for three months, is doing well at his Georgia home with his wife Rosalynn. The couple enjoys regular servings of ice cream and meeting with family to receive updates on The Carter Center's humanitarian work around the world. Despite his fame, his grandson said they were "just like all of y’all’s grandparents." The announcement of his end-of-life care prompted attention to the global humanitarian work the couple has done since co-founding The Carter Center in 1982.
