Power Outages Persist Across Ohio and Pennsylvania, Restoration Times Vary

FirstEnergy expects to restore power to most of its customers served by Ohio Edison by 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, after a storm caused power outages in northern and central Ohio. As of Sunday afternoon, 53,300 customers remained without service. Trumbull County had the most extensive outages, with 12,126 or 15% of the county still without power. Penn Power reported approximately 54,900 customers in western Pennsylvania lost power due to the storm, and 13,000 remained without service by Sunday afternoon.
