Multiple Power Outages Cause Disruptions in Louisiana, Including LSU Campus

Power has been restored to all customers in East Baton Rouge Parish after a transmission source was lost, causing an outage that left nearly 4,500 customers without electricity. The outage primarily affected the 70802 and 70808 zip codes. Some schools, including LSU, canceled classes for the day due to the power outage. Entergy Louisiana stated that there may be a small group of customers without power near the area where the transmission line was down as crews continue to work on the system.
