"Massachusetts Repayment Program Eases Student Loan Burden for Health Care Workers"

The Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services is providing over $140 million in student loan relief to more than 2,900 healthcare workers in the state through the MA Repay Program. The program offers loan forgiveness ranging from $12,500 to $300,000 per borrower and aims to support healthcare professionals and address workforce shortages. Similar state and federal programs exist, such as New York's Get On Your Feet Loan Forgiveness Program and federal relief programs for teachers and nurses.
