Blaze Devastates Harrisburg's Historic Broad Street Market

A fire engulfed a building at the historic Broad Street Market in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The fire, which started in the brick building, destroyed approximately half of the structure and caused significant damage to the other half. Firefighters were unable to enter the building due to the risk of collapse but were able to prevent the fire from spreading further. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is still unknown. The Broad Street Market, which has been in operation since 1860, is known as the oldest continuously operated market house in the United States.
