'Tiger King' Star 'Doc' Antle Pleads Guilty to Wildlife Trafficking and Money Laundering

Bhagavan "Doc" Antle, an exotic wildlife preserve owner known for his appearance on the Netflix series "Tiger King," has pleaded guilty to charges of animal trafficking and money laundering. Antle was involved in the sale and purchase of protected species such as cheetah cubs, lion cubs, tigers, and a juvenile chimpanzee. He attempted to conceal these transactions as "donations" to his nonprofit organization. Antle could face up to five years in prison, fines, and supervised release for each count. Additionally, evidence was found linking him to the transportation and harboring of immigrants who entered the country illegally. This comes after Antle was acquitted of animal cruelty charges earlier this year.
