Texas Rapper Allegedly Held Woman Hostage in Garage for 4 Years

Houston rapper Lee Carter, 52, has been accused of kidnapping a homeless woman and holding her captive in his garage for at least four years before she managed to use his laptop to call for help. The woman was found in April in putrid conditions, malnourished and pregnant, and Carter was arrested on a charge of felony aggravated kidnapping on Thursday. His attorney claims the woman is actually his domestic partner, but prosecutors allege she was held against her will. Carter posted $100,000 bond and is the owner of Rhyme Time Records.
