Teen Sentenced to Jail for Involvement in Homeless Woman's Pellet Gun Killing

A San Diego teenager, Ryan Hopkins, was sentenced to a three-year suspended sentence for his role in aiding his friend, William Innes, in the shooting death of a homeless woman, Annette Pershal, with a pellet gun. Innes, who allegedly referred to the incident as a "hobo hunt," is facing charges of first-degree murder. Hopkins tearfully apologized to Pershal's family in court. The incident occurred in May, and Pershal died from her injuries after spending three days in a coma.
