Police Officer Foils 7-Eleven Armed Robbery in Caught-on-Video Encounter

A California police sergeant walked into a 7-Eleven in Covina and stumbled upon an armed robbery in progress. The masked robber flashed a gun at the store clerk and stole around $400 in cash before the sergeant, unaware of the situation, walked by him. The sergeant then chased and captured the suspect, identified as Ramon Gonzalez, who was found with a loaded gun and the stolen cash. Gonzalez was booked on charges of robbery, carrying a concealed weapon, and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
