Michigan Teen Convicted of Lye Attack on Father While He Slept

A Michigan teenager, Megan Imirowicz, has been found guilty of killing her father by throwing lye on him while he was sleeping. She faces life in prison when sentenced in July. Imirowicz was upset with her father for being drunk and unable to drive her to a hair salon appointment before her planned 18th birthday party. Her father suffered chemical burns all over his body and survived for five months before dying in March 2022.
