Massive Drug Bust: $10 Million Worth of Cocaine and Meth Discovered in Jalapeño Paste

US Customs and Border Protection officers in Southern California seized over $10 million worth of methamphetamine and cocaine hidden in a shipment of jalapeño paste. The narcotics, weighing a total of 3,161 pounds of methamphetamine and 522 pounds of cocaine, were discovered in 349 suspicious packages. The driver was turned over to Homeland Security Investigations, and the drugs and tractor trailer were seized. This seizure adds to the agency's total of over 140,000 pounds of methamphetamine and 81,000 pounds of cocaine seized in 2023.
