Indiana family devastated by deadly grenade explosion in their home.

A man was killed and his two children injured after a live grenade in a grandfather's belongings detonated in Lake of the Four Seasons, Indiana. The family was going through the grandfather's belongings when they found the grenade and someone pulled the pin, causing it to explode. The man was found unresponsive and later died, while his two children were taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for shrapnel wounds. The incident is being investigated by Lake County Sheriff’s Department Homicide detectives and crime scene investigation unit, and the neighboring county's bomb squad was called to secure the area and check for additional explosives.
