"Former North Dakota State Senator Ray Holmberg Faces Child Pornography Indictment"

Former State Senator Ray Holmberg of North Dakota has pleaded not guilty to federal child pornography charges, including child sex tourism and receipt of child porn. A trial date has been set for December 5, 2023. If convicted, Holmberg could face up to 50 years in prison. The charges come two years after a raid on his home revealed his involvement in trading text messages with a man jailed on child pornography charges. Holmberg's offenses allegedly took place between June 2011 and November 2016.
