
Ex-North Dakota Lawmaker Indicted for International Child Sex Trafficking
Former North Dakota state senator Ray Holmberg, a retired Republican, has been charged with traveling to Europe with the intent of paying for sex with a minor and receiving images depicting child sexual abuse. Holmberg, who served over 45 years in the North Dakota Senate, was arrested and released after pleading not guilty. Prosecutors allege that he repeatedly traveled to Prague between 2011 and 2016 for the purpose of engaging in illegal activities. Holmberg's trial is set for December 5th.
