Fatal Hit-and-Run: Stolen Forklift Claims Woman's Life at Home Depot

A 20-year-old man from Waldorf, Maryland, has been charged with first-degree murder, second-degree murder, assault, theft, and other related charges after allegedly stealing a forklift from Lowe's and fatally running over a 73-year-old woman in the parking lot of a Home Depot. The suspect, Bryce Caleb Timothy Brown, allegedly broke into Lowe's, stole the forklift, and drove it to Home Depot, where he rammed a parked vehicle. The woman, Gloristine Pinkney, was asleep in the car and was run over by Brown when she tried to flee. Brown then fled the scene in Pinkney's car but was later arrested. The investigation is ongoing.
