Ex-Air Force Officer Sentenced for Capitol Attack

Retired Air Force officer Larry Rendall Brock Jr. has been sentenced to two years in prison for his role in the Jan. 6 Capitol attack. Brock, who stormed the Capitol dressed in combat gear and carrying zip-tie handcuffs, was convicted of all six counts in his indictment, including obstruction of an official proceeding. Prosecutors had recommended a sentence of five years in prison followed by three years of supervised release. Brock believed baseless conspiracy theories that the 2020 presidential election was stolen from Republican incumbent Donald Trump.
