Chicago Police Officer and Sister Convicted in January 6 Capitol Attack

A Chicago police officer, Karol Chwiesiuk, and his sister have been found guilty of four charges related to the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol. The officer, who testified in his own defense, claimed he did not vandalize anything and did not hear alarms when he entered the building. The siblings will be sentenced on Dec. 7, and the officer has been placed on unpaid status with revoked firearms privileges.
