South Carolina's Escaped Monkeys: 13 Still Missing as Recapture Efforts Continue

Thirteen Rhesus macaques remain at large after escaping from the Alpha Genesis Primate Research Center in Yemassee, South Carolina, with authorities capturing five more of the 43 that initially escaped. The monkeys, described as young females, escaped due to a caretaker's error in securing an enclosure.
