Tragedy Strikes as Kentucky Coal Plant Collapses, Leaving 1 Dead and 1 Missing

One person has died and another is still missing after an 11-story coal preparation plant collapsed in Martin County, Kentucky. The collapse occurred near the West Virginia border and rescue efforts are ongoing. The plant, which had not been in use for years and was being prepared for demolition, is adjacent to a mine shaft. Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear declared a state of emergency and requested prayers for the safety of the trapped workers and the rescue teams. The rescue operation is expected to take several days.
