Fatal Electrocution: Man Dies After Jumping into Lake Lanier

A 24-year-old man died after being electrocuted in Lake Lanier in Forsyth County. The man jumped into the water from his family's dock and began screaming for help. Despite rescue attempts by a family friend and neighbors, the man was shocked by an electrical current in the water. CPR was performed until first responders arrived, but the man passed away the following day. The cause of the electrification is still under investigation.
