Woman's Facial Pain Leads to Shocking Brain Tumor Diagnosis

Andreea Vanacker, a mother-of-two from Montreal, Canada, was diagnosed with a large benign brain tumor after experiencing electric shock-like pain on the right side of her face. Doctors removed the tumor via surgery, which involved cutting out part of her skull and brain tissue. It took a year for her to recover her strength. Vanacker shared her story to raise awareness of brain tumors and their warning signs, including headaches, blurry vision, losing feeling or movement in a limb, and trouble with balance.
