After being diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer and undergoing emergency surgery, 42-year-old Matt Meyersohn founded the nonprofit Cambridge Basketball Lab, a youth mentorship and coaching program in Boston, as a safe and free place for kids to play and learn basketball.
