Former WWE and UFC star Ronda Rousey made surprise appearances at The Wrestling Revolver's REVOLVER Unreal event and Ring of Honor tapings, sparking speculation about her future with ROH and AEW. According to reports, Rousey is currently not signed to either promotion and appeared on a handshake deal. Her appearances are aimed at generating subscriptions for ROH's HonorClub. Rousey has been working independent dates and with ROH to collaborate with Marina Shafir. Despite rumors, Rousey was not the major signing teased by Tony Khan for AEW's Full Gear event. There is speculation that Rousey could potentially face Athena for the ROH Women's Championship at Final Battle in December.
