Def Leppard drummer assaulted outside hotel, recovering.

Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen was attacked outside a Florida hotel while taking a smoke break. The 59-year-old drummer was knocked to the ground by a 19-year-old man who was hiding behind a pillar. A woman who saw Allen fall ran to help him, and the man then attacked her. The assailant was arrested and charged with two counts of battery, four counts of criminal mischief, and abusing an elderly or disabled adult. Allen, who lost his left arm in an accident in 1984, is recovering and working on it in a safe space.
