Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen opens up about surviving brutal Florida attack.
Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen was attacked outside a South Florida hotel following a concert earlier this year. Allen, who lost his left arm in a car accident in 1984, was taking a smoke break outside a hotel when he was knocked to the ground by a 19-year-old from Ohio. The attacker also attacked a woman who tried to help Allen. Allen's head struck the ground during the attack, and he and his wife have been focusing on his recovery. The attacker has pleaded not guilty to two counts of battery and four counts of criminal mischief.
