This is the latest movie to be banned in Vietnam over similar images implying China's broad claim of sovereignty over the region. The Nine-Dash Line is used by China to back its claims, which are disputed by other countries in the area. Vietnam has also banned other movies and TV shows featuring the Nine-Dash Line. The Department of Defense has revised its rules on film cooperation to include not working with studios that comply with Chinese censorship demands.
