The disease is commonly associated with a bacterial infection called H. pylori or the use of NSAIDs. Symptoms include burning abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, and bleeding. Treatment involves identifying the cause and treating with acid-reducing medication and antibiotics if necessary. Springsteen will continue treatment through the rest of the year and plans to resume his tour next year.
