Concert Cancellations in Oregon Due to Poor Air Quality

The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality has issued an air quality advisory for several counties due to smoke from wildfires in the region, as well as from northern California and Canada. The poor air quality has led to the cancellation of a concert by Noah Kahan in Bend. Smoke levels can change rapidly, and people are advised to stay indoors, close windows and doors, and use air purifiers if necessary. Cloth and surgical masks are not effective against smoke particles, and N95 or P100 respirators should be properly selected and worn.
