US airline passengers' frustration levels soar as complaints skyrocket.

North American airline passenger satisfaction has decreased by seven points from the previous year, with high ticket prices being the biggest factor in passengers' dissatisfaction, according to J.D. Power's 2023 North American Airline Satisfaction Study. Southwest Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and JetBlue Airways topped the charts for economy passengers, while JetBlue Airways, Delta Air Lines, and United Airlines were the top three for first class and business class travelers. In-flight services were found to be the most significant factor for upper-class cabins, while flight crew received high scores for being friendly and helpful despite the pandemic-induced challenges.
