A SpiceJet passenger was trapped in an airplane toilet for almost the entire flight, claiming he was injured during landing and received no medical assistance. The 37-year-old techie, who plans to sue the airline, said he was traumatized and hurt as the plane landed in Bengaluru, and despite receiving a voucher offer, he declined and filed a complaint with India’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation. SpiceJet stated that the crew provided assistance and guidance, an engineer opened the lavatory door upon arrival, and the passenger received immediate medical support, apologizing for the inconvenience and offering a full refund.
