The world's largest cruise ship, Royal Caribbean's Icon of the Seas, set sail from Port of Miami on its maiden journey, embarking on a seven-day island-hopping tour through the tropics. The ship, christened with help from soccer star Lionel Messi, was built over 900 days in Finland, spans 20 decks, and can accommodate 7,600 passengers and a crew of 2,350. It features eco-friendly Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) propulsion, and offers a variety of entertainment and dining options, including waterslides, swimming pools, an ice skating rink, a theater, and over 40 restaurants, bars, and lounges.
